Seasonal Allergies - Symptoms Seasonal Allergies.

No comments:
Seasonal Allergic More commonly known as Hay Fever. It may occurs when your immune system treats usually harmless substance as dangerous chemical into your bloodstream to fight it. This may vary from one season to another. The Other reason of Seasonal Allergies is If you sneeze and cough, or your nose and eyes itch and running during certain times of the years, you may have Seasonal Allergies.
Grass, pollen and mold are the most common trigger of Seasonal Allergies.

Seasonal Allergies - Allergy

 Spring.

Many people see the beginning of spring as a welcome change. In this case, with the warm breeze comes airborne dust and form spores but if you're suffer from seasonal allergy you probably feel them with every inhale. Allergen send them to the body immune system into overdrive and leading to allergic symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing and itching.
"Spring is typically consider as a Tree pollen season. "
Spring Allergies start in February and last until the early summer. Light Winter temperature can make plant fertilize early. In this Trees are reponsible for spring time seasonal allergies and affects 30 to 60 million people in the United States, Pakistan and India.

Spring Allergies- Tree Pollen.

Trees causes allergy because they produce small pollen cells that are light and dry and can be carried far by the Spring breeze.

Seasonal Allergies- Allergy

There are eleven types of tree may common trigger to hay fever in Spring.
  • Oak.
  • Walnut
  • Western red cedar.
  • Sycamore
  • Maple.
  • Birch.
  • Ash.
  • Elm.
  • Cypress.
  • Poplar.
  • Hickory.
These trees discharge pollen around the same time every year. If you are affected by any of them then by the pollens in air you'll start sneezing , feels itchy eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

Summer.

Summer is unofficially on, and that means three months full of sun, heat and allergy triggers. The completely blossomed trees and green grass may be look nice but the pollens they harbor can bring allergy sufferers misery during the spring and summer months.
But it's not quite recently that universal fine substance that can trigger sniffling, sneezing, itchy eyes and also the cause of asthma during the hotter months.
The Reason of there cause are:
  • Pollen
  • Mold.
  • Stings (Mosquito and other insect)
  • Poison ivy and sunscreen.
  • Asthma.
  • Seasonal Fruit.

Pollen.

No Matters, what the season, pollen is in the air and ready to set off allergic attacks.
"Pollen varies from region to region but follow a sequentical pattern everywhere."

Mold.

Outdoor mold is the reason behind many allergic reactions starting in late summer and fall where there is peak amount of some types of mold spore. There are many types of mold but few can trigger allergies.

Strings.

Staying away from a difficult experience is only one motivation to avoid stinging insects. Insect stings are also a well-known summer allergy trigger that can prompt a serious response known as anaphylaxis. A number of people die each year as a result of allergic reactions to stings.
"Stings are much less common, but can be more dangerous,"

Seasonal Allergies- Allergy.

About 80 million peoples are allergic to insect stings, and about 2 million end up in emergency rooms because of the reaction of insect sting. Honey bees, wasps, hornets and yellow jackets are most active during the late summer and early fall, and fire ants are active throughout year in some parts of the country.

Fall.

Fall allergy triggers are different, however they can cause similarly the same number of indications as in spring and summer. Ragweed is the biggest allergy trigger in the fall. In spite of the fact that it generally begins to release pollen with cool evenings and warm days in August, it can last into September and October. About 75% of people allergic to spring plants likewise have responses to ragweed.

Seasonal Allergies- Fall allergy

Even if it doesn't grow where you live, ragweed pollen can travel for hundreds of miles on the wind. For some people who are allergic to ragweed, certain fruits and vegetables, including bananas, melon, and zucchini, can also cause side-effects.
Mold is another fall trigger. You may think of mold growing in your basement or bathroom and basement of the house. Heaps of soggy leaves are perfect reproducing reason for mold.
Keep in mind tidy parasites. While they're regular amid the moist summer months, they can get mixed into the air the first time you turn on your heat in the fall. They can trigger sneezes, wheezes, and runny noses.

Winter.

We spend our most of the time, so due to this indoor allergies take place that is the huge problem. Some common indoor allergies are:

House dust miles:

Microscopic bugs are under the matress and bed. When their droppings and remains become airborne, they can cause allergy indication in some people.
Seasonal Allergies- Winter allergy

Mould:

This causes by fungus due to the moist areaa in house like basement, cellers and bathrooms. When it spore get into the air it is the cause of allergy. Many people in Europe believe that they are allegric due to Christmas Trees it is not actually due to trees but the mould that can collect on them that is more likely to cause allergy symptoms.

Animals:

They might be our best friends but they become enimies to anyone who become allergic to them. Dander, saliva and urine is usually the problem.

Risk Factors of Addiction | Addiction Risk Factor.

3 comments:
People of all backgrounds and beliefs can experience Addiction. Addiction Risk Factors can be difficult to understand that why some people are more inclined to it than others. Despite of your upbringing many factors can raised the risk of become Addicted to alcohol and the other drugs. Your Genetic environment, condition, medical history and age they all play a role. Different types of drugs and the method of using them are also more Addictive than others

There are Risk factors of Assosiation included:
  • Genetics.
  • Environment.
  • Dual Diagnosis.
  • Early use.
  • Psychological factors.

Genetics.

Addiction doesn’t involve weak willpower or lack of morals. The chemical reaction that happen in your brain when you have an addiction not quite the same than those that happen in someone without one. That clarify why one person may be able to smoke cigarettes very often for pleasure while another need them daily basis to function.
Heredity is the major risk factor of addiction. As indicated by the National Institute on Drug Abuse up to half of your risk of addiction to alcohol, nicotine, or other drugs depends on genetics. If you have family members who’ve experienced addiction, you’re more likely to experience it too.
If you have Addicted personality, you might be at risk of wide range of addictions. For example, if you are alcoholic parent, you might choose not to drink but still become addicted to smoking or gambling.

Environment.

Environmental factor can raise your risk of Addiction. For children and teens, lack of parental involvement can lead the greater risk-taking or experimentation with alcohol and other drugs. Youngsters who experience abuse and ingnorance from parents may also use alcohol and other drugs to control and relaxing there emotions.
Pressure on brain is another risk factor for addiction, especially among young people. Notwithstanding aggressive, pressure from friends to fit in a create environment of “experimentation” with substances that can lead to addiction. The availability of this matter in your social groups can also affect to your risk of becoming addicted. For example, large amounts of alcohol are available in many social contacts that are more  popular among college students.

If you’re trying to recover from an addiction you may have to avoid environmental effect, including the activities, settings, or people. For example, you may need to avoid to those people that you previously used drugs with.

Dual Diagnosis.

In the medical community, you have a “dual diagnosis” if you have both an addictive disorder and another mental health condition, such as depression. Basic mental health issues can increase your risk of addiction. In turn, an addiction can deeply increase the mental health conditions. This creates a dangerous cycle in which your addiction tends to progress quickly and with strict consequences. You may feel like that alcohol or drugs decrease your depression symptoms for a short period of time. But with the passage of time, addiction will likely make things worse.
Other medical conditions can also increase the risk of addiction. For example, if you take cure pain pills after a surgery, you may be at risk of addiction. An injury or illness may also change your life incourage you to use drugs or alcohol. Your specialist can help you grow better methodologies to adapt to changes in your health and lifestyle.

Early Use.

Another risk factor for addiction is the age at which you start to conduct. A survey conducted by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism found that young adult between the age of 18 and 24 like most alcohol use disorder and other drug addictions. when you’re young can also impact your brain development Addictive berhaviour take place making you more inclined, mental health disorders as you get older and your addiction progresses.

Drugs of choice.

While a few addictions advance gradually through over the course of several months or years, others move more quickly. Drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamines tend to be more physically Addictive than alcohol or marijuana. If you use cocaine or heroin, the output  phase tends to be physically painful. This may push you more Addict and force you to increase the Dose day by day. This can speed up the process of Addiction and raise your risk of serious complications, including overdose.

Method of use.

Similarly as specific medications might be more addictive than others, your strategy of using drugs can also increase your risk of addiction. Drugs that are smoked or infused into your body have a tendency to be more addictive than those that you swallow. When you smoke or infuse drugs, they go straight into your blood stream and brain, as opposed to going through your liver and different organs where they're filtered first.

Prevention.

Even if you have many risks factors for addiction, you can battle against it or keep away from it by control on your mind. Risk factors can increase your chance of becoming addicted, but they don’t ensure that you’ll experience addiction.
If you have a lot of risk factors for addiction, consult to your doctor. They can help you learn more about addiction, your danger of creating it, and methodologies to maintain a strategic distance from it.They may recommend abstinence and suggest that you avoid drinking alcohol, using drugs, or practicing other addictive behaviors.
If you have any doubt that you have any addiction the consult to your doctor for help as soon as possible, he’ll treat you better. They may suggest directing, solutions, or other treatment alternatives. It’s possible to recover from an addiction and lead a healthy life.

1 comment:

Allergy is known as allergic diseases occur when immune system become usually sensitive and overreacts to common substance that are normally harmfully to our body. In this we will discuss about Allergy and It's sign, Symptoms of reaction This disease cause illness and fever food allergies, atopic dermatitis, allergic asthma, and anaphylaxis. Symptoms cause swelling, shortness of breath, runny nose, itchy rashes, red eyes. Food poisioning and food intolerance are also the conditions.

Allergy Sign and symptoms

Sign and Symptoms-

Allergies such as dust or pollen are airborne particles. Most of the cases this cause around areas in contact with eye, nose, air and lungs. In Instance allergic rhinitis also known as hay fever, cause many irritation of nose, sneezing, itches and the redness of eyes. Inhale allergy increase production of mucus in lungs, shorten of breath, coughing and wheezing
On the other side allergies reaction also happens from food, bitting of insect, the reaction of medication such as aspirin, antibiotics such as penicillin. The Symtoms of food allergy cause abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, itchy skin, swelling of skin. Food Allergy cause asthmatic reaction (Breath problem). On the other hand Insect sting and the reaction of medication cause systematic allergy is known as anaphlylaxis. In this multiple organs are affected, digestive system, repiratory system and circulatory system. It can cause skin reaction, Coma and sometimes the cause of death due to the germs enter in our body by our skin.

Affected Organs:

In Allergy the organs that are affected are nose, sinuses, eyes, airways( sneezing coughing etc), ear, skin,Gastrointestinaltract ( Pain, Vomit, Diarrhea).
allergy sign and symptoms.

Skin:

The substance that come into contact with skin are such as latex, the common causes of reactions known as dermatitis or eczema. Skin allergies are mostly Rashes, redness, Sweeling inflammation within the skin. With insect stings large local reaction may occur (Redness of skin and the area around the point of hit sting) and this swelling may remains for 2-3 days.

Causes of Allergy:

Substance that come into contact with the skin such as Host and Environmental factors.
  •   Host factor that include heredity, sex, race and age by far the most significant and this increase in the incidence of allergies disorders that cannot be explained by the genetic factors alone.
  • Other is Environmental that is exposure to Infectionous diseases during early childhood, environmental pollution, allergy level and diet changes.

Food:

The abdominal immune response to food. The wide variety of food can cause allergic reactions but in mostly cases the cause of food allergy is cow’s milk, soy, egg, wheat, peanuts, treenuts, fish and shellfish. Other food allergy is that type of allergy that may effect only 1 person in 10,000 population maybe considered rare. Peanuts allergy are notorious for their severity. Peanut allergies are not the most common food allergy in adults and children. Peanut allergy can sometime be outgrown by children. Egg allergy may effect 1% to 2% of children but are outgrown of children by the age of 5. The sensitivity of protein is usually in the white white part, rather than the yolk. Milk Protein are mostly common in children. Approx 60% of milk protein reaction are Immunoglobulin E. Some people are unable to tolerate milk from sheep, goat as well as from cows, and many are unable to tolerate the dairy product such as cheese. Beef contain a small amount of protein that present in cow’s milk. Tree nuts allergy may be allergic to one or many tree nuts including, pecans, pistachios, pine nuts, and walnuts also include poppy seeds contain oil in which protein is present which may elicit an allergic reaction. It can also transfer from one food to another.

Latex-

It is a stable dispersion of polymer microparticles in aqueous medium. In this allergy is caused due to the Rubber part such as dential suites, operating rooms, surgical units. Sweating and rubber areas under the gloves possibly leading to ulceration. Reaction occure mostly to those patients who have been exposed to surgen latex gloves during surgery.

Medication-

Mostly 10% of people report that they have allery to penicillin. Because this antibiotic react most of the people and this is the cause of skin disease, redness and often death.

Toxin interacting with Protein:

Another non-food protein reaction  urushiol-induced contact dermatitis, originates after contact with poison or poison sumac. Urushiol itself is not a protein it is a chemical that react the change the internal membrane proteins and exposed skin cells. Immune system don’t recognize the reacted cell or normal part of body. These are the most poisonous plant(sumac) and the reaction happens through it is dermatological reaction like swelling, redness, papules, vesicles.

Genetics:

Allergic disease is also caused from the genetics. Allergic parents are more likely to have allergic children. The risk of allergic sensitization and the development of allergies varies with age, with young children most at risk. Overall, boys have a higher risk of developing allergies than girls

Environmental Factor:

Our environment is the most important factor in this. We are living in a different country like USA and after some years we move to Pakistan and actually we come to  different environment  and somethings like water cause allergic and the air, food and many things like that are the great factors.

Hope, this is the informative part for you and you get knowledge from this. Stay in touch with for more new update.

What Does the Lens of eye Do | Eye Lens Anatomy

1 comment:
In this Article we read about "What does the lens of eye do". How it works and what is the main role of lens in eye. As you Read in the pervious article How Does human Eye works.
Lens of eye

What is Lens?

Lens is a a transparent, biconvex structure in eye, along with cornea, helps to refract light to focus on retina. The lens, by changing shape, capacities to change the distance of eye so that concentrate on items at different separations, thus allowing a sharp real image of the object protest important in the frame of retina. The adjustment of the lens is known as accommodation. Accommodation is the similar focus on one image. The lens is more flat on its anterior side as its posterior side.

What is the function of Lens?

The two principle elements of lens of eye are to focus light onto the retina and to help the eye to concentrate on the object of various distance. The lens of eye is rubbery, jelly like structure and located right behind the cornea and is held set up by ligaments that are joined to an arrangement of muscles called ciliary muscles.

Lens of eye do

The tendons and ciliary muscles help eye to focus either relaxing or pulling the lens allowing it more flexibl, spherical and flatter in shape. The adjustment of lens occurs more quickly allowing eye to focus nearby object at one moment and then the far object at the other moment.
Sometimes  the eye does not work appropriately or needs additional help to concentrate on items accurately.  Eyeglasses or contact lenses provide the accuracy. The lens of the eye may also become shady with age, which is the condition to know as cataract. Lens replacement surgery is available for people with cataract. The lens of eye may likewise weaken with age, and its capacity to alter from a removed to a close concentration decays and more established people require perusing glasses to right this issue.

How Does the Human Eye Work | All About the eyes.

No comments:
Your Eye works like a kind of Camera. As you want to know that how human eye work lets take the example of camera you will understand. It takes picture around you and convey it to your brain. Human brain works out that what you are seeing around you and it act like a Memory. It happen just like that you open your eye in the morning and close your eyes at night while sleeping.

As you can see in the above Diagram about the comparison of camera and eye, Actually camera is discovered as a copy  to see the human eye.

How Camera Works?

Light rays from an object passes through the lens and then the camera record or capture a snap. The picture that is captured in a camera is Upside down but when we see it in the Computer and device, it was not upside down.

How your eyes work?

Your eyes work as the similar way like camera, as light passes through your eye and the image is recorded back to your eye retina. The picture that your eye takes it also upside down!
As the Question is that "why you don't see the image upside down?"
When you see the image the eye send it to your brain and your brain turns the picture to the right way and you see the things right way up. As we read in the previous article.

  1.  The structure of eye:
  • Iris
  • Cornes.
  • Lens

Iris:  It is similar to the diaphagm of camera, your iris widens in Dim light and Narrow in bright light.Compare this to the average camera lens which may have f-number from f/2.8 to f/22. The main function of iris not to control the intensity of light coming into your eyes.

Cornea and Lens: There are two lens in your eyes, Cornea and eye lens.

  • Cornea, the front surface of eye, does more of focusing in your eye.
  • Eye-Lens provide adjustable fine tunning of focus.

  • This is because the cornea air surface has large change in index of refraction, so light bends alot.
  • The power of eye lens is 43 Dipoter.
  • As like our eye lens focus the thing we are trying to see.
So, the eye lens changes its focal length by changing its shape and it depends upon our eye muscles that contract or relax. Contract when the more bending power with shorter focal length and Relax when the less bending power with the long focal length.
